One of the cool companies making a splash at the ISE Shows this year has been Icehole Coolers . The guys at Icehole really have an awesome product and the next stop for them is ISE Phoenix . If you haven't seen these coolers, make a point of getting out to ISE - they really bring something different to the table.
I'd really like to thank Rich Schneider from Icehole for taking some time out to answer some questions.
FCHH - So, what made you decide to develop a line of coolers? We saw an opportunity to fill a consumer need and provide an American made product at the same time. High-performance coolers were not new to the market, but we found a way to improve every aspect of this niche product.
FCHH - If someone has never heard of your product before, what would you want them to know? First and foremost that every piece of our coolers are made right here in the US. We feel our coolers are at the top of the market for durability and ice retention. We have three different sized coolers: the M35 Deuce and a Half (35 qt.), the M60 Patton (60 qt.) and the M1 Abrams (100 qt.) in four different colors: Coyote Tan, Glacier White, Tactical Green and Moab. All material is to military specifications, featuring interlocking non-skid feet, an exclusive freezer seal design, latches from the M2 Bradley fighting vehicle, and every cooler comes with a limited lifetime warranty. We believe in helping those that have made sacrifices for us all and for that reason, a portion of every sale of an ICEHOLE cooler is donated to a non-profit organization to benefit our veterans, their families, and their survivors.
FCHH - What are your favorite features of your coolers? It’s a 100% American made product. We feel with the state of our economy and country, it is our duty to everything we can to help strengthen it.
FCHH - How has the response been? Extremely positive. People love the look and colors of the coolers. People thank us all the time for making them here in the US, and they are impressed with our warranty and ice retention.
FCHH - Is this your first year with ISE? How have the shows been? This is our first year with ISE. The shows have been a great avenue for us getting our name out and introducing our products to a large audience. Exhibitors and attendees continue to ask well informed questions . . . and they’re buying a lot of coolers!
